My Short Fantasy WIP

Pssst snake warning! 🫶

What started as pouring my heart out during a difficult time, turned into a full fledged story of a young boy who is turned on by his village and cast away at sea, only to find himself on an island full of secrets and magic.

I never expected to finish, or even give a name to this WIP, but I’ve become deeply connected to the story and its characters. I am currently on the second draft for this one.

This project is a short fantasy piece about a boy who is cast away at sea, believed to be filled with evil spirits. 🐍

What he finds is an island filled with secrets and hidden magic. But from across the ocean, there’s a girl who remembers the boy cast at sea. 🏝️

She never forgot him, and when she sees smoke on the horizon-she knows he must still be out there, somewhere.

Chaos unfolds and the boy rediscovers a love once lost, and has to choose between the world he was given, or a chance at a future calling him to walk away from all that he believes.
